Thank you very much for loooking at/commenting on the shots I post. I appreciate your kindness.
Lester was doing melodeon things this afternoon, so I went off by myself for a couple of hours. I'm very lucky to live in an area with such a good variety of interesting things to look at.
This is a view of the canal at Bulbourne, complete with a narrow boat and a British Waterways Flat (the little blue thing) - which Lester tells me is the canal version of a builders'/general workman's truck.
Critique welcome. Veteran 365er, 2011 vintage. Only posting occasionally and irregularly now.
I'm an abstract photography enthusiast but not exclusively so.

We had our squirrel woodburning stove fitted in our narrowboat here by the man who used to live and work here. Unfortunately, soon afterwards, he slipped between the boat and the bank and hurt his leg so badly that he had to move away to dry land. I was listening to the radio about problems with low water and that the Tring Summit might be closed to boats for a time. Lovely pic, great composition with the foreground wall.
you do live in a beautiful place.....so many interesting things to photograph and in such cool weather. the weather here is so hot you don't feel like venturing out of the house.
