This beautiful shell is one of our ornaments. It usually sits on a window ledge with its big brother, a barnacle cluster and a little model sailing boat.
This evening I sat it on a piece of plate glass with some creamy coloured card underneath to make today's album entry.
I'd like to have composed it on a larger field but I didn't have enough glass to get the reflection I wanted and a good spacious composition, so I settled for placing the shell at a shallow angle off the horizontal - in order to get the fullest reflection I could - and an up close and personal crop, with some useful advice from Gareth about where to make the crop.
Hope everyone has a good weekend.
