Here comes the Falconbrook!

Many thanks for looking and for all your lovely comments - it's very encouraging to know that people are enjoying my posts.

This works better on large view.
Lester and I went to Laleham, a village in Surrey, today, after stopping off at a garden centre for lunch - an activity much loved by retired people :-)
I'd looked longingly at this stretch of the Thames when we were on the way back home from another outing and put in a request to the management for a return trip and stop-off for taking some photographs of it because it's particularly lovely.

I got lucky because this tug boat appeared as I was lining the camera up, very obliging of it!
The tug's the Falconbrook - a brief biography can be found here http://www.shipspotting.com/gallery/photo.php?lid=438076

I tried a few crops but liked this version because it gave the best idea of distance.
This is beautiful Alison. You've captured the scene nicely ;)

Yes, good on large view. You get the feeling of wide open space better.
