Lester very kindly took me to Marlow tonight so that I could have a go at some blue hour stuff.
This was about the most successful shot, although there are some issues with it. Never mind, it's a good excuse to go back and try again. :-D
Those bow things are some form of mooring contraption for the boat in the
foreground.

This is such a pretty shot - I, too, hadn't heard the term blue hour - but it sure describes that time period. Will have to remember that. The lighting is super.
Dont know about blue hour, but presume you mean just before we get dark. The blue is lovely. The bridge in the background and the lights really show up. They backdrop the boats well and the mooringlines emphasis the boats.
looks like a lovely place to be
