Marlow blue 2

The weather hasn't been good all day but it did what the weatherman promised and cleared up enough to go out later on, so I went to Marlow this evening and took this shot of the bridge over the River Thames.
I like the structure of the bridge very much and try various angles on it each time I'm down that way.
(Re-posted after a little erasing job that got forgotten first time around)

Great angles and shapes, and what a bonus, a beautiful blue sky! Nice pov to take the eye right along the bridge.

Yes. I agree with Jan. Great shapes and pov. A beautiful sky. We were near Maidenhead this morning where the weather was lovely but it didn't last.

Great sky, and I like the light at the very end of the bridge twinkling.

What a magnificent bridge! Anywhere near London Bridge? Fab lighting and angle. How exciting to live in this area. Thanks for all your nice comments on my photos. You are such a loyal 365 friend ;-)

Thank you :-)

@cimes1 Thank you, Carole. :-) This is about 37 miles away from London Bridge. We're in the county of Buckinghamshire and the Thames flows through part of the county.

Lovely angles and I'm pleased to see blue sky, finally!

@cgould Thank you, Celia. Sadly this is just an effect you get in the late evening after the sun has gone down. We've had a bit of blue sky today but it's back to rain again this evening. :'-(

Great shot and good POV, it's makes such difference to see all the lights working as well, it's a real shame the Olympics have snubbed Marlow with the torch route :(

Thank you :-)

@wilkesie Thank you, Wilksie :-) Bad with it being Steven Redgrave's home town. Well, I vote for giving Sir Steve's statue its own Olympic torch. Rolled up sequin waste should make a passable copy of one. And if I was braver and more agile I'd do it too!
