This is the dome of the Great Conservatory at Syon Park, the London home of the dukes of Northumberland.
The house is open to the public on certain days, although not Saturday and the grounds are open every day. Lester and I went there to take a stroll round today. There aren't many flowers but the grounds are incredibly pretty and the conservatory is huge and quite spectacular. I prefer its architecture to that of the house. The internal structure of the building's lovely too.
I've put a photo of the outside of the conservatory in another album : http://365project.org/dulciknit/on-the-day-extr/2012-06-23
