Lilypond by dulciknit

Lilypond

Lester and I went to Greys Court near Henley-on-Thames today. We've been before but never gone into the house. We didn't go into the house today either, we were happy just to walk round the grounds, admiring the flowers. The grounds consist of a series of small (relatively!) walled gardens, like outdoor rooms.
A lilypond isn't quite the place you'd expect to find a fir cone :-)

There's a photo of the house itself - a beautiful, flint and brick building, here : http://365project.org/dulciknit/on-the-day-extr/2012-06-28

Love the effect you used - such an interesting photo that way - and yes, what on earth was the fir cone doing there?? I love the white lily blooms against all the sepia lilypads.
