Of stormy skies, starlings, and straw bales.

It was raining when we got up this morning and I decided not to accompany Lester on his trip to the Cotswolds to meet up with old Morris Side chums, the weather forecast wasn't good and I didn't fancy standing round in the rain. As it was, Lester came back early because he'd had enough of standing round in the rain!

I went for a bit of a drive instead and ended up near where yesterday's photo was taken. I was looking for something a bit different from straw bales but couldn't resist this combination.
I really got lucky; usually when I try to get photos of starlings on power lines they take one look at the weirdo with the camera and fly off pronto.
