Sails

Not much time today (Saturday) because Gareth is visiting. I had an hour or so to find a shot for the day while he and his dad were doing male bonding, he-man type jobs .
Pitstone windmill is, in some respects, an easy fall back - it's 15 minutes' drive away, rather lovely, and a good subject. However, the fact that it's on a path through the middle of an arable field restricts the angles I can get on it, so it's a bit of a challenge to see how many different looks I can come up with. This was today's best effort.

If you have a moment or two to kill and fancy a look-see, my other Pitstone windmill shots can be accessed via "ab pitstone windmill" in the tags for this one.

Great shot and still love it... I may have to pop over there tomorrow?

Do really like this - the POV is wonderful - reminds you of how really large those sails are!

Fab angle. Great way to use the lines. Actually I think this is one of my favourite shots of your takes on this windmill. Nice work and great a b&w.
