I thought it would be nice to round off the current series of Pitstone windmill shots with this view from the mill field.
In the unlikely event that someone doesn't catch the reference, the title's from a line in the Beatles' song, Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds.

An instant fav as soon as I saw these lovely layered colors offset by the silhouetted trees. Reminds me of the fiber artist Cynthia St. James piece about cottonwood trees..
Shouldn't marmalade skies ideally be seen at breakfast? I do like the layers, almost like layers of sediment in a rock (if you see what I mean) with the trees being a charcoal element. I like the orange sky of course too.
