Every Mother's Day my daughter, who doesn't live locally, sends me some beautiful narcissi and daffodils. She knows they're my favourites, bless her heart.
These are some that I put on the window ledge. They looked so pretty in the light so I spent a bit of time today trying out different exposures. This is the one I thought looked most like what I felt the glow looked like, if you see what I mean!
Edit. Just remembered something A.A.Milne wrote : - "A house with daffodils in it is a house lit up, whether or no the sun be shining outside. Daffodils in a green bowl--and let it snow if it will."
I see what he meant - there was no sunshine here today - and it snowed too!

The light goes through these perfectly on the window ledge - it sure shows the variations in shading and emphasizes the detail in the lines. Beautiful shot.
Lovely, bright, springlike shot!!Think we went through everything the weather could throw at us today......wind,snow,sun,hail...quite often all at once!!
