@phil_howcroft @janturnbull They are indeed slates and are part of a water feature/sculpture, by Dan Reuben Harvey and Heather Ackroyd and called Seven Slate Towers, situated in Kew Gardens. The water wasn't running on the day I took this.

@netkonnexion Ooops - sorry! It's situated in the Secluded Garden, just above the Princess of Wales Conservatory, over to the right of the map and up a bit from the bottom.
