A tune or song that sticks in your mind is referred to as an earworm, so logic suggests that a sight that sticks in your mind must be an eyeworm. :-)
After the sun burned off this morning's fog, the day became gloriously sunny and warm and Lester and I went to Guildford in Surrey for a wander round the town. There's lots of interesting architecture there, some of it very old indeed. We spotted this very peculiar carving above the doorway of a shop in the High Street. It had a mirror image on the other side. It wasn't easy to get an angle on it, this was the best I could manage. Of all the things we saw in Guildford today, and all the shots I took, this one has totally fascinated me because of its weirdness. It may be worth a look on large view to see all the detail.

I'm an abstract photography enthusiast but not exclusively so.

Lovely shot and great angle. I wonder how old the carving is. It could be something to do with the name of the shop in times gone past. You've certainly intrigued me!!
