I've been thinking about what to do with the other ammonite, on and off, ever since. It's been plaguing me because the colours are actually bordering on the garish in some lights and I wanted to capture its more subtle look. Inspiration struck recently and today I got the shot of it I wanted. The ammonite (the lustre on it is natural) is sitting inside an abalone shell.
