I didn't manage to get a good angle on that lovely, painted ceiling. One day I'll go back and have another go.
Nice angle to show us the structure, yes it's quite hard to get those ceilings sometimes. It looks like it's quite lovely even at a distance.

Very very pretty - you've shown a really good idea of what it looks like inside the church. You've managed to get that ceiling and the windows and the light is wonderful.

That is a magnificent church, and a lovely shot of it. What is it suspended from the ceiling with the four ropes?

They are the ropes for the bells - the striped bits are the bellringers' hand grips (sallies) . There's a single rope off to the left which I suspect is how they're hoisted up out of the way when not in use.
