we went to crosby farm regional park to walk in the deep woods and love up the HUGE old elm, silver maple and cottonwood trees.
but maybe i REALLY wanted to walk along the mississippi river. the park trails flow thru the woods & the river.
the river fascinates me. everything about it.
i am especially fascinated by the people who LIVE on it. they all have stories to tell...of life on the river & the river itself. perhaps someday i will hear them : )
the land behind this boat is pike island...part of fort snelling state park. we plan to walk that side tomorrow...
