Our power was restored last night after almost 9 days due to a freak October snow storm. We were extremely lucky that my parents never lost power, so we have been at their house for over a week. Our son was having a hard time sleeping the last few days and woke up just after midnight last night and screamed at the top of his lungs for an hour and a half. The poor little guy was just so over tired that he did not know what to do with himself. My husband, son and I moved back into our house tonight, and we were all so happy. My son ran into the family room and was just giggling. He immediately grabbed his lawn mower and started pushing it around the room. It feels really good to be getting our life back to normal.
