I had been wanting to try making my own bokeh lens covers for a while, so when I saw that Amy Hughes posted a tutorial on it today, I got out my scissors and black construction paper and got crafty. Amy’s instructions were great, but my shapes looked all wonky. Then, when I was outside trying to take some shots, I stepped on the best one ripping it. That was when I recognized that we have this beautiful holly bush just outside our front door. I will try the shaped bokeh again another night.
This is very pretty! I just read an online article on custom bokeh lenses on Digital Photography School. I get their online newsletters but have a backlog of them to read. Funny that I read that one today and here you are trying it!
