Back in October, we had a severe, freak Nor’Easter that dumped over a foot of snow damaging many trees. In the aftermath of the storm, my husband and son spent a lot of time cleaning up limbs and branches, so my son kept seeing trees and saying ‘big tree…fall down’. There was a birch tree in our yard that was severely damaged, and we have been trying to get a tree company to come cut it down ever since. They finally came today and my son could not have been more excited to see the ‘big truck’. He kept saying ‘big tree…cut…cut’.
LOL...this reminds me of when I was a nanny to two small boys and sometimes when I took them somewhere in my car, I felt like some weird tour guide, pointing out earth moving equipment, fire trucks, horses, cows, snow plows...just random stuff that boys like. :-)
