My parents stopped over for an hour today to just say hi to the boys. Here my dad is holding both boys and singing ‘Pony boy…pony boy…won’t you be my pony boy…giddy up…giddy up’. This song has been a family favorite to sing to the children in our family for generations. I remember it being sung to me as a child, and it was so cute to see my oldest son cracking up as my dad sang it to him and bounced him on his knee.
what a precious pic - I love these family songs - and I love seeing my dad playing with my nephews, remembering how I felt as a kids being bounced around by him!
