My son ALWAYS has Matchbox cars in his hands. When my husband and I took him to the store today, we bought him some new slippers. I gave them to him so he could hold them, but he looked at the slippers, and then looked at the car in each hand and decided that he did not want to part with either one. I carried the slippers to the cashier.
Currently, red car, blue car, green car, white Cadillac and purple truck are the favorites. Here he is holding his brand new orange Lamborghini that he earned today because he was a good listener and helped Mommy and Daddy clean the house.
so sweet - there' s a picture of my father about that age, so about 1936 on a pony holding a toy car as the only way to persuade him he was going to pose!
He's the CARS movie-lover, too, right? I like your DOF in this and the gentleness of his little boy hands (which I'm sure can be pretty "rough" sometimes!)
I know that scene well, there's a silver car, a people carrier, a yellow lamborghini and a dodge viper on our house. I find them in all sorts of hiding places. Lovely picture.
@shanne oh that is so cool! What a great shot to have. :) @debsphotos he is the one. I have gone like 3-4 days without watching that movie, so a little of my sanity has returned! @suzibremner Oh I know. I find them all over the house, and they really hurt when you don't see them and step on them.
