A few weeks ago, I was waiting in line at the fabric store, so my mom took my son M. around looking at fabric to keep him busy. All of a sudden, I spy him carrying a bolt of fabric bigger than him. He hands it to me and says 'Mommy buy this'. I look and, of course, it was covered with construction vehicles. I caved and bought a yard.
Today, we finally got around to making a pillow for his room. He loved pinning the fabric and named us 'Big Poker' (me) and 'Little Poker' (him). He also helped me by crawling under the table and pressing the foot pedal and 'driving' the iron. He got bored after a while and decided to take a break, so I finished up. After we were done, he was quite excited to bring his new pillow upstairs and put it on his chair.
Thanks for all your comments and favs on my photo from yesterday. You guys are awesome!
Such a fun shot, love the busy hands of your 'little poker'! He'll be LOVING that pillow for some time, me thinks - how awesome of you to listen to him in the shop, and to involve him in making the pillow. And a nice photo to boot - Go you!
