Some Day There'll Be Rain in Them Clouds

I had to edit this description - So. Cal was getting a lot of rain and we, as norm, were just getting passing puffs of whiteness - with some stunning clouds - this was a fill-in and actually taken early 7/18
Around midnight I heard rain! Drizzle on the leaves... then lightning! I've never seen that/this much lightning sustained, in California! It has been lightning and thundering with light to rain for the past 10+ hours!!! Lightning as frequest as every 20 seconds to once a minute all night! Now tapering to a strike once or so ever 15 minutes... we need days/weeks of this to impact the drought but this will do just fine for all the gardens and all of our spirits :-)
