Around the block from us lives Audrey. She's stunning. She makes me smile. I love Audrey.
She blooms year after year and finally, today I pull over to photograph her. I've never seen the people who live there and as I park and get out with the camera, out of the back, appears the woman who lives there. I tell her how this giant bush/tree brings me so much happiness when I see it and that today I finally stopped to take a picture. She proceeded to tell me about Audrey. She is named Audrey after the character in A LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS. And to my total surprise, the woman suggested I smell the flowers - amazing - they smelled like raw honey... What a fantastic bush/tree. They believe she's a Mexican Sunflower plant. Audrey blooms every year this time, and this is the first year I didn't let all the blooms disappear! Wonderful, love, happiness. Audrey. (BTW - no processing needed, she is this crazy vibrant and beautiful)
