Getting ready for the great pumpkin.
Very nice! Is this a mask?

@ahleena Thanks! it's a huge head that's foam inside with some kind of outter ceramic (?). It was used at the studios when the movie came out - the studio's employee Christmas parade had floats and Jack was one of the main characters in it (so we've been able to piece together)... we came across it at an antique mart down the road a bit... and grabbed it up! He came with two outfits and skeleton hands and feet. We made the base to hold the head and use it as a centerpiece at Halloween time :) It's big but pretty light - def. not paper mache.

@ingrid_marianna Thanks - I debated on using it but thought I didn't want to fall too far behind and so he got up here '-)

A second-hand find? (Pardon the pun LOL!) that's way cool. So it was an actual studio prop? Can you put your head in it?

@ahleena Good pun! No on the head - he has a pole coming out of the bottom - we took some pipe from the hardware store and a flange and afixed that to plywood round and then when he comes out, we pop him ontop of the pipe. He was from the studio - we were lucky enough to live down there and the movie wasn't that crazy big... at first! I have a framed cell that we bought off a guy at the rosebowl flea mart - he mentioned he worked on the movie and we thought ok... years later, when it was released in 3d, we went to see it in hollywood, they opened with people who worked on it including the art director henry selleck - chris sarandon(jack) signed our card, but one of the artisits on stage... that guy from the flea market! LOL you just never know! and time burton was from our part of the world - a kid from little ol' burbank, california :-)
