Land of Cotton

Exploring, in a beautiful, area and 💥 boom... right in the midst we're some cotton fields! And this is late to pick/harvesting says my father in law. Just magical to me. I got out of the car and collected the cotton that the machine left behind. The man working the harvester smiled and waved, I thought he might be upset but no, he was very kind.

Wonderful full field scene - I remember doing exactly the same thing (stopping the car to slip out and pick a leftover) many years ago the first time I saw a cotton field.
