I'm Blending In...

Still only had opportunity to shoot the sentry at the door - This is what he looks like - no processing necessary so he's a great subject when especially tired too. I need to try and get shots earlier in the day though. Thank you for your comments and inspiration! All are appreciated!
Another wonderful capture, such gorgeous colouring.

I came so close to getting a photo of one of my male sacred kingfishers today - they are a similar size I believe, and so iridescent. but I failed - this has made me really smile 😊

@koalagardens I looked up the Sacred King Fisher - I hope you share one soon! I couldn't find how big they are - these guys are about two inches - not big physically but giants in personality.

@pamknowler @annepann @redy4et this little nugget (maybe 2 inches) loves sitting at the front door and just in the right spot where the light varies as he moves around - thank you for commenting! I'm glad I could share this little nugget with you - he's a little terror in the best way!

@rickster549 If you put out a sugar feeder, you may get some as they migrate through! I know you're in the South East - guessing by some of your beautiful shares - there's a town there - I think Fairhope... where the do catch and bandings of these little buggers. Thanks for commenting - I'm glad you enjoyed him.
