Everyone was sitting in the boma at !Xaus Lodge after supper, and it was distinctly chilly. Alistair had stoked up the fire to create additional coals, and then popped a half-shovel full under each guests' chair. (You can see the glowing piles under the chairs.) It was so nice and toasty to have your neather regions roasted :)

But at least I looked up who the ‡Khomani San and Mier communities are and know now that !Xaus Lodge means Heart Lodge in the Nama Language. Please tell us more about it.
