Capetonians are funny. For people who live in a temperate climate, we have a lot to say about the weather. Maybe it's because it can change so quickly. That said, there are few that will be sad when the current heat-wave departs, though. Our garden will certainly be pleased.

Capetonians have nothing on the English for discussing the weather! I have been hearing about the heat wave you guys are having. We have family in Sweden experiencing the coldest weather in decades at not far from -40C, while our family in Cape Town is sweltering in +40C. We hover in between at around 0C. :o)

Love this picture. And I have to agree with Karyn, us English are the best for discussing the weather. It's that, or how bad we are at football, or how useless our politicians are!
