Dang! I made the wrong call. by eleanor

Dang! I made the wrong call.

I'm not a great one for looking back and bemoaning what I missed - but I was rather sad last night when I heard about the excitement at Newlands yesterday.

My complete, unused ticket is all I have to tell me about one of the most exciting days of Test Cricket in the last century. I think the moment when South Africa had Australia at 21/9 must have been quite surreal.
Shame. Nice photo though...

I do not know what you said because I do not understand cricket. I understand many sports but cricket is not one of them.

@cirasj Sorry Joe! Let's just say that the batters did not get the runs they required ... and we (South Africa) beat them (Australia). To ggive you an idea on the numbers ... the first number is the total number of runs in the session. For a game between two of the best teams in the world you would not be surprised to see something like 400/9. 21/9 is a world-record low...!

@debsulzberger @cmt2812 I hear it's all over at Newlands ... South Africa won by 9 wickets. All I can say is "Goodness, golly gosh!"
