Redentur

I was struggling to find a photo for the purple day, the last of the purples for this month in the rainbow 2021 challenge, when my wife directed me to a candle holder we had on one of our shelves. I set it up in front of the statuette of the Redeemer we have in the hall. I just wanted to hint at the statue which is why I set it out of focus with the main subject being the candle in spite of the title.
I thought this would be a fitting photo for the start of the Holy Week.
Lovely!

Very beautiful shot, Leli, and I like how you focused on the light instead of Christ under the cross which is very original. Thank you for your comments on my picture of yesterday. I presume that the fougasse you mentioned is near Ghallis tower. I have seen a couple of them, the last one which I remember clearly is near the Madliena tower.

@sangwann thanks for your comments and you are welcome. The fougasse at Salini is a few metres away from the Salini Resort; it has a low enclosure and you'll find it on the right as you go up the road to the hotel.
