From yesterday's walk along the pier at Xemxija Bay I spotted this couple at one end of a jetty. They were quietly sitting there as the sun was setting. I noticed that the man was holding a plain glass tumbler full of tea. In traditional village bars you will be served tea in a plain glass tumbler not a tea cup. It is usually served with the traditional pastizz ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pastizz).
I liked how the man was sitting patiently and waiting; no words necessary but being present.
Lovely capture. Maybe he was waiting for her to get the fishing net to pull up the catch, only you don't get such big fish for a net like that. I like the tranquil scene.
