The bunch that was left behind. by elza

The bunch that was left behind.

During this morning's walk in Qlejgħa Valley I took a path that was recently restored and repaired through the European Agricultural Fund for rural development which led me to a small vineyard. The first shots that I took were of the browning vine leaves that are now feeling the advance of Autumn. Then I spotted the bunch of grapes that was missed and left behind during harvest. Reminded me of the political slogan "no one left behind" in so many areas of society where unfortunately some are always left behind.

When I wrote the title I realised that it has six words. So...
Great photo and description

@ankers70 @djepie @wakelys @summerfield @milaniet @robz @borof Thank you so much for stopping. Had to look up "prak" and learnt a new word. Thanks. And yes the birds did get their share. I've seen vineyards covered in netting to keep off the birds from pecking away at the fruit.

Interesting. Netted vineyards and orchards the norm here! @elza
