Ginger in the parvis by elza

Ginger in the parvis

Online lessons have started again. Today we registered another high of 1144 new cases of Covid 19. I took a photo of my grandchildren for today's word "Smiles" but did not get what I was looking for so I've posted a shot from two days ago. It was the green grass between the flag stones of the parvis of a medieveal church in Zejtun that caught my first interest. Then ginger stepped in and kind of stopped there as if to tell me not to invade his space.
Smiling now as I posted a ginger cat today too! Yours looks less grumpy than mine! I love this shot. I am very fond of ginger cats.

We recorded another 179,000 cases today in UK but that's lower than it was. This madness should pass soon. Historically, plagues don't last that long and we have had more than 2 years already. Soon.

Like the way the grass filled in between the pavers to make such a nice pattern

I love the background that sets off this handsome kitty. He reminds me so much of an orange tabby I once had.

The colour of the cat matches the background very well.
