Another morning spent with my grand children checking that they were OK with their online lessons. The rest of the day was spent indoors as it was rainy and rather chilly unlike the 31st when I took this photo at Tigne Point. My objective that day was to capture our changing urban scene. This is one of the high rises at what is now known as The Point. As already mentioned in a previous shot, this is where the last fort was built by the Knights of Malta and which is also known as Dragut Point. It was during the Great Siege of Malta in 1565 and in this part of the harbour that the Muslim Commander Dragut was fatally wounded.
So here are our modern pyramids which will not survive as long as the Giza ones for sure! A disgruntled gentleman passed me by and told me to photograph the rust coming out of the NEW buildings. (He - with a British accent - emphasises the word new.)
