I'm still not sure of how to take high key photos. Tried to follow a guide when removing some of the background but solid and expert advice is more than welcome. The little guy from the 11th Nov. photo shoot at Gnejna Bay was surrounded by white surf which prompted me to experiment with high key.
It's a lovely shot. I love it! Funnily enough Debbie @shutterbug49 posted an image today with a question about high key images. It was interesting to read the comments and do some research about the topic. Apparently there is a strict definition which can be used: High Key - Every tonal value is located at the right side of the 50% grey line. There is not a single pixel that has a tonal value darker than 50% grey. ? It seems pretty pedantic! Cheers Rob
