21st January 2014

As fog was forecast I was up early to get to Bushy Park before sunrise. I did take a lot of photos of the Fallow Deer but it was this swan in the pond that surrounds the Diana Fountain that I like the most. The sun had risen and through the fog the light was soft with almost a peach colour. The fog obscured the edge of the pond so only the swan and it's reflection were visible.

If you have time here are some other images from this morning from Bushy Park and Teddington Lock.

I love seeing the beauty of the swan and his/her reflection, unencroached on by anything else. Love your other images too Emma, especially that spiderweb. This is a fav for me.

@axika @maggiemae @tristansmum Thank you all and especially for the 'faves'. The light really improved about half an hour after sunrise but as the swan was hoping for bread I got a limited number of him gliding towards me!
