30th December 2014

I managed a pre-dawn rise this morning (yes- I know it's not really that early at this time of year!). The thermometer in the car was registering -2.5 and it took quite a bit of scraping.

It was well worth the effort, the dawn light and sunrise was stunning and for once I had a number of images I wanted to use for today - have a look at a few other photographs if you have time - https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.864685886917427.1073741971.186301661422523&type=1

There was an amazing low mist in a strip along with impressive hoar frosts near the ponds.

I also found a large number of lost gloves… they were really attractive covered with hoar frost but I hope they can be reunited with their owners as I also posted photos of the gloves with their locations!! https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.864698640249485.1073741972.186301661422523&type=1
