OK, I gave in. Here is Market Street in Oxford… with yellow stone buildings and the ubiquitous bicycles.

This really is a lovely city with amazing architecture. I think a misty early morning with minimal tourists would be a great time to photograph the buildings and squares. Mum and I have had a great time.
So glad you gave in, Emma. I love the way the picture speaks of both ancient and lovely architecture, and students. Can't see a picture like this without thinking of "Gaudy Night", Dorothy L. Sayers' novel which is set in Oxford, and in some ways a sort of love song to the city and the university.
