Today it rained... and it rained! However in true British fashion that did not stop us and we walked into Kingston along the river.

After all the problems earlier in the year with my camera and it’s ‘superior weather sealing’ I had left it behind so have been relying on the iPhone recently. This family of swans didn’t seem to mind the rain drops.

Sadly Milford the hamster passed away today. He was the grand age of 2 years and 1 month old and lived life in the fast lane with his 'meet and greet' duties with visitors… sad day :-(
Are these the Ham cygnets. You must be near me as I am in Ham.
There are very similar cygnets on the pond near where I live.
Great capture.

@neatz Hi there, these were on the river just beyond the stretch where the tow path finishes and you walk along the road towards Kingston - opposite the Tamesis sailing club. They probably are the same ones… they were moving quickly!

We didn't have a drop here - in East Anglia. Shame! Gorgeous swans and cygnets.

A very sweet domestic scene. I'm so sorry to hear about Milford; at least you gave him a good life while he was here.
