This is the first of our Day Lilies which has just flowered outside our back door and as their name suggests, last just one day! It is a sign of the mild winter and warm days that we are having as they did not start flowering until the 4th if July last year. I was using the Macro but it was early evening so the light was low so I had to work with a narrower d.o.f. than I would have liked to keep the shutter speed up.
