Oooh - exciting, we collected some currency today for our trip to South America. We know the exchange rates are generally better in country but we wanted to have some cash to start off with for tips and taxis etc. We were collecting Peruvian Nuevo Sols, Chilean Pesos and Argentinian Pesos but were unable to get any Bolivian ‘BOBs’ as it seems to be a closed currency.
However, I had to queue for nearly half and hour and Colin had to take time out perched on the shoe display (we were in M&S) as his back is bad again (well that was his excuse) so I held the place in the queue - these are other people ahead of me in the queue...
