Having finished our research for the moment in Somerset we headed across the border into Wales to visit our friends in Grosmont.
On route we stopped at Tintern Abbey which I have been interested in seeing as we normally drive right past. It really is an impressive ruin. Despite the sun it was bitter in the wind again so we were forced to visit the tea shop and have a pot of tea and a Welsh cake!
