It's Bank Holiday again but this time we're not risking a trip out in the car after the 2.5 hours we were stuck last time!

After all of our walking over the past couple of weeks I have felt a bit like I really need another walk so we wandered into Kingston passing by the new sign erected in Teddington to show the position of a bronze age barrow in Sandy Lane. We walked through Bushy Park and then crossed Kingston bridge to walk back to Teddington along the river.

I treated Colin to an ice-cream from the Italian van near John Lewis and was pleasantly surprised to find it was less than $7 this time! As we walked along the river we spotted a number of the Dunkirk 'Little Ships' heading upstream and we also found another 4-5 moored by Teddington Lock. Footsteps 11,469 - not quite as impressive as last week but not bad!

We had a quick add up on the actual distance we walked during our time in Washington and New York and it turns out it was actually 71.4 miles!
