5th August 2017

I haven't seen many butterflies this year but this Red Admiral in Watts Lane was an exception. It was also really strange as it kept flying around the same area and was still in the same place when I came back from shopping half an hour later.

The samples of my new cycling greeting cards arrived today and I'm really pleased with them. I'm liaising with Julia, the owner of Card Collection so we can choose the best two designs to take forward to print.

I spent the rest of the day cracking on with making up my Christmas cards. I was making good progress until I realised that I had not included the 450 I need for the Sparkle show in November. This takes the total to well over 2,000… I'm not going to finish them all before Colin returns so I'm leaving that 450 and spreading it out the weeks before we leave. A few tasks around the house tomorrow and then it's back on the cards again!

I also booked another trip this morning to swim with manta rays in Coral Bay and chatted with Ruby on the telephone (still using our excellent phone card) and the best comment so far has to be "no dramas at all hun"… translating as we were booked on the trip we wanted with no problems!!
