30th August 2017

What a day. Today I drove over to my friend Sarah's house and then we drove up to see her daughter Izzy at her new residential school. Unfortunately it rained torrentially all day and a journey that should have been straight forward around the M25 to Much Hadham in about an hour and a half, became a 2 hour and 50 minute journey.

Luckily it was a great visit and Izzy was happy to see us. This is the selfie that Izzy took of the three of us in the canteen.

The rain continued and we had hoped to visit the Henry Moore sculpture park nearby but as it was so wet we accepted defeat and headed to an excellent garden centre nearby for tea and cake!

The journey back was even worse and after taking in most of North London including the Neasden Mosque, Harlsden, Willesden, East Acton and other places I had no idea where… I eventually got home after 3 and a half hours.
