Most of today we were getting ready for our dinner party with two friends this evening. I was in charge of starters - potted prawns with lemon and toasted ciabatta, Colin made an excellent Bologna style 'tagliatelle ragu' and I finished up making a dessert of lemon tart and cream with raspberries.
We all had a great time, drank lots and it was nice to show off our newly decorated living room! We didn't get to bed until after 1.30am.
These are the real wax candles but with batteries which now light up the alcoves and show off Colin's NPL clock!
