We had a really nice day today- Colin’s friend Mike drove down from High Barnet to spend the day with us. He is a keen walker so we planned a day at Hampton Court Palace, walking across Bushy Park to get there. The weather was so much better than the forecast with bright sun and ‘photographer’ clouds!
We walked across Bushy Park and around the grounds before stopping for lunch. The weather was stunning and we walked around the gardens and the Long Water. Later after walking well over our 10,000 footsteps we headed back through Bushy to a tase dinner of melon and ham starter, steak main course and lemon flan and a cheese board to finish. It was a really nice day and lovely to catch up with Mike as we had not seen him for a couple of years.
