11th January 2022

1 year, 282 since the start of the 1st lock down in March 2020.

Another dull and damp day as evidenced from this afternoon photo.

This morning we drove over to Molesey so that I could deliver my framed print of the Oak tree in a blizzard that a chap had been sent as a Christmas card. I was a little uncertain about the delivery as he had kept suggesting a coffee but actually he seemed fine and just wanted to chat about art. Luckily he liked the print and paid in cash! Afterwards I visited Julia and Card Collection and delivered new greeting cards and collected the unsold Christmas cards. Not as good as some ears but I sold over 150 so not bad.

We headed back to Tescos afterwards as unfortunately Chris called us yesterday and he has tested positive for Covid so we were on a mercy mission to get hime some food as he could not get a delivery slot from Tescos. I popped in some cookies as a treat and we then drove home to drop off our shopping and then over to Chris’s in Chertsey. We stayed well back and left his bags on the doorstep - he’s not too poorly, it’s more of a bad cold and luckily he has been triple vaccinated including the Booster so hopefully he will recover soon.
