1 year, 301 since the start of the 1st lock down in March 2020

I checked Ibn for our flight tomorrow on the dot of 8.00am and it turns out that it will be a very full flight with only 2 free seats in the entire of the plane.

Today it was all about sending those last few work and photo club emails. We’ve finally agreed a date for the summer awards dinner in July but it looks like Colin will be missing it again if he goes to Spain with his family again.

In the afternoon I had a quick phone call with Mum who is now sporting an impressive black eye after the disaster of Saturdays breakdown on the M3 as apparently she tripped while trying to get into a safe area.

I had a meeting at 3.00 with Liz from the Teddington Society to discuss the way forward with their Twitter account which she now runs and and the Instagram account which I look after. It was useful as we agreed some terms and I caught up with the news of the town. It was also nice to be in the Fallow Deer cafe for the first time in about 2 years!

Back home, packed up the camera and we finished our day with a trip to Nando’s so we did not have to cook and we could have our dinner earlier in preparation for our ungodly alarm of (in my case 4.20am) to have a quick shower and a taxi arriving at 5.15am…
